Troy Springs State Park: Yield to Turtles

One of the many turtles that frequent the spring and run makes its' way across the flat. Most of these turtles are at least a foot long, and as long as you are stealthy, you can get pretty close and it doesn't seem to bother them.

 

If my research was accurate these are Suwannee River Cooters, but I'm no herpetologist; so if I'm wrong, somebody help me out...
