Eastern Crowned Warbler_16-10-06_Phylloscopus coronatus

The eastern crowned warbler is a species of Old World warbler in the family Phylloscopidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, ... Wikipedia

This is the 4th Eastern Crowned Warbler to appear in the UK. It graced the copse in the car park at Bempton Cliffs RSPB for 3 days. I had regretted not travelling up to the north-east for the previous birds which also stayed for 3 days each just a few years ago so this time we made the effort and after a 4.5 hour drive we were watching this delightful bird.

Thanks to all at the RSPB reserve for making this such a pleasurable experience.
