Rose in Pasco, Washington KOA
"Anchoring with the Grand Fleet" isn't necessarily a bad thing. This park has really nice sites, dead level, well drained with a combination of gravel and concrete with grassy strips between the rigs. The park seems to lack a tent area. It really is what is now being characterized as an "RV Resort," catering to the seriously big rigs. Yet Rose and we were perfectly comfortable, although we could have wished for some shade. The temperatures were running into the high 90's. At least the humidity tends to be in the low 20's, making the heat way more bearable, but Rose is a tent, and she's not air conditioned, so afternoon naps are kinda warmish.
