My favorite, favorite, favorite block of all time!!! Oh, my goodness, Lynne, I just cannot stand it - this is absolutely wonderful. And look at the super cool map fabric you have in there - tee hee! I have joined the second round of the Amite Circle Game BOM and should be getting my first packet this month ...

Ooh how lovely to see you both here. I got quite a shiver when this block was pieced into the surround - it adds about five more dimensions for me to see the colours all thrown together like that. And I love having scraps that have a personal story to them. Some of the fabrics in here are Amitie BOM fabrics but there are also some special pieces (like the map fabric which Gayle has just this morning sent to me) and the Sherbert Pips which is a left over from my first ever Moda Bake Shop project - OK there are a few more special pieces in there too but I won't bore Flickrland with the provenance of each one!.

Gayle, I don't know what fabric Amitie uses for the second border but I'm hoping I have enough American Vintage to use that instead - we'll see.

Gorgeous! I can't wait to get to the stage of adding the surrounds. I think I have 4 circles to finish first though. Love the map fabric.

Cherry They add so much to each block - and that map fabric was a gift I received from Gayle Brindley this morning!

Ridonculous. I, too, have that map fabric coming to me. It was on sale, so I bought TWO panels!! I'm sure I'll never find a use as stellar as this, tho. You're killing it Goldsworthy.
