An offshoot of the River Derwent, Sorell Creek winds its way along the wind-break trees that line the old hops fields, long since turned over to pasture, in Molesworth, Tasmania. Molesworth is around thirty minutes drive from Hobart CBD in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley region.

 

Photo taken with a 1970 Zeiss Ikon Contaflex S 35mm single lens reflex. The Contaflex was fitted with its Carl Zeiss 85mm f/4 Pro Tessar telephoto lens, lens hood and Carl Zeiss UV filter and the shutter was tripped with a Zeiss cable release. Meter reading taken with Zeiss Ikon Ikometer selenium powered light meter. The film was Kodak Tri-X Pan processed in ILFORD ID-11 developer.
