Approaching Castle Tufa, Mono Lake

This is another image taken on my winter kayaking adventure at Mono Lake. This was taken on my last day as I paddled past the big congregation of tufas at South Tufa and found this smaller set of tufa structures on the shore's edge. It really is like paddling on another planet, very surreal, which keeps me going back time and again.

Shot with a Canon Elan 7; Fuji Velvia 50 film; Canon 17-40mm lens; Moose warming circular polarizer filter, 2-stop soft GND filter.
