Golden Gate Bridge in the Fog
I understand that the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most photographed things in the world and that photographers who live in the Bay Area tend to shun it as cliched and trite.
But I haven't ever taken any really good pictures of the GGB, so I feel like I'm missing a part of the foundation I should have. Isn't it kind of like someone who loves rock/pop music not having any Beatles or Rolling Stones in their collection? Whether that makes sense or not, I'm on a mission to get a classic GGB photo. Yesterday early evening the fog was kind of cooperating and I took this shot, which I like but isn't exactly what I'm looking for.
I have to say though that watching the fog roll over the headlands and through the bay is not a bad way to spend a couple of hours.
