Poor little guy...
...times are tough, especially in a difficult economy.
Plus not having opposable thumbs or a capability to speak in any of the local languages only complicates things.
“However mean your life is, meet it and live it: do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.”
~Henry David Thoreau**
It may just be an advertisement, but even so it definitely is still a memorable (to say nothing of obnoxiously cute) reminder that we often are not the only ones to hurt when times turn difficult. More than that, it's easy to overlook those without a voice when caught in the middle of rough situations.
So please ... won't somebody think of the puppies?
**I feel a shout out to the very talented Sue is in order, considering she's the one from whom I shamelessly stole the quote idea (and format...). Hope you don't feel too terribly ripped off!
