Watching TV

    Newer Older

Laurel likes to watch TV from her table but I don't like her too close, so I had her move back after I took this photo with her feet up. (If you're curious why the captions are on, it's to help reinforce word recognition.)

Hey, great shot! Thought you might like to know it showed up (with attribution) on the Atlantic website yesterday: The End of TV and the Death of the Cable Bundle.

      Congrats!

Thanks for using creative commons! I've used your photo to help illustrate a post on the social science website TheSocietyPages.org about new research that watching reruns helps refuel us. You can check it out here: thesocietypages.org/citings/2012/09/07/tvs-restorative-po.... The caption credits you and clicking on the photo brings readers back to the original.
      All the best!

Thank you for posting, Melissa. I was interested to read that you have captioning turned on to help your child with word recognition. I hope to use your photograph to illustrate commentary in an Athabasca University course about television.
