Yosemite Wilderness & Koip Crest

Looking north from the Island Pass area of the Ansel Adams Wilderness into the Yosemite Wilderness in the southeast corner of the park.


Far left is Donahue Pass and Donahue Peak, center would be Kuna Peak, to the right is the Koip Crest (probably named from the Mono Indian word "Koipa", meaning 'mountain sheep' in the Northern Paiute dialect, indicating the presence of Bighorn sheep that died out years ago).
