Mojave Rattlesnake, Texas

Crotalus scutulatus

west Texas, just outside Van Horn, Culberson County.

I have looked at several photos and read descriptions, and I have decided that this must be a Mojave Rattlesnake. I'd appreciate a correction or verification. If it's really a Mojave, it is the first one that I've ever seen. (I was traveling thru west Texas -- I don't live anywhere near this type of rattlesnake.)
