The MV Driftwood (originally the MV Songhee) was built in New Westminster, British Columbia Canada in 1944. At first it served as a vessel for the Canadian Navy, retrieving dud torpedoes fired in the Canadian Navy test firing range. After serving many different uses up and down the BC coast, she is now owned by Queen Charlotte Lodge, and serves as guest quarters for up to 12 guests, and the on water service base for the rest of the fishing lodge as well, seeing up to 100 visitors a day at lunch.
