New Slains Castle

New Slains Castle, built between 1597 and 1836. Bram Stoker stayed nearby while writing the early drafts of Dracula, and it's said to be the inspiration for the count's castle.

Now ruined, the castle is only accessible by walking ten minutes down a very muddy old path, but the location is truly awe-inspiring.
