There used to be a temple there but we had no time to cross over.
Hoi An called "The Ancient City of Vietnam", now a UNESCO World Heritage site was an ancient trading port.
The unique Japanese Bridge is a covered structure built by the Japanese in the 16th Century.
Today, Hoi An is still a small city, but it attracts tourists by the droves. Numerous up-market art and craft shops and tailors who produce made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of the western price, line the colourful, narrow streets.
