The famous Japanese Bridge

There used to be a temple there but we had no time to cross over.

Hoi An called "The Ancient City of Vietnam", now a UNESCO World Heritage site was an ancient trading port.

The unique Japanese Bridge is a covered structure built by the Japanese in the 16th Century.

Today, Hoi An is still a small city, but it attracts tourists by the droves. Numerous up-market art and craft shops and tailors who produce made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of the western price, line the colourful, narrow streets.

Restaurants with Cooking Classes also ply their trade, obviously well supplied by the exotic markets that are close by. The food was first class....
