    ‘Chance Meeting’ Roxy Music

‘I never thought I'd seen you again
Where have you been until now?
Well how are you? how have you been?
It's a long time since we last met
It seems like yesterday when I
First saw you in your red dress smile
How could I forget that day
I know that time spent well is so rare’

Apparently the words were written after watching the film ‘Brief Encounter’. I really like how the linked video matches the song so perfectly, and I hope the picture is a suitable homage, despite being taken many miles from Carnforth.

The picture was taken onboard the 09:35 Warszawa Centralna to Budapest ‘Euro-City’ train as we passed through Grodzisk on Sunday 15th October 2017, edited in photos on the iPhone and uploaded from the train.

Tim Boric, patkilner123, Scheggya, and 96 other people added this photo to their favorites.

CBSNAPS I am so pleased that you like this one. I’m not particularly experienced at portraits so I was heartened to read your complements regarding the pose and feeling of the picture. I really hoped to show a person deep in thought.

Adam Smok I really enjoyed all of your trains. The international ones like this were the best, Express InterCity Premium was great for a modern train and even the commuter trains of KM (I traveled on the one that goes to Plock) was very comfortable!
