The Assonet Ledge...Ultra-Wide!

From last October 2010

While my camera is in the shop and while I wait for my replacement camera to be sent to me, I am going through some older photos. I decided to go back to some from last Fall that were taken in the Freetown/Fall River State Forest. This place is called the Assonet Ledge.

This is a very wide angle. I took the original with a fish-eye lens and have "de-fished" the image (took out the fish-eye distortion) to show an approximate 180 degree field of vision. Just like what your eye can see when you are up on The Ledge taking in all those Fall colors.

The clouds were amazing that day...
