Long Island City, NY

The Queensboro Bridge (renamed for former NYC mayor Ed Koch in 2010) opened in 1909 and connects Queens and Manhattan over the East River. It is also known as the 59th Street Bridge because the Manhattan end is between 59th and 60th streets.

"The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)" by Simon & Garfunkel, appeared on their 1966 album Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme.
