Rural Development Under Secretary Dallas Tonsager spoke about rural revitalization at the Spring National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB), “Washington Watch” member retreat in Washington, D.C. This year the meeting was held in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, Indian Treaty Room on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, featuring United Sates Department of Agriculture and Obama Administration officials. This opportunity provides an occasion to highlight efforts to rebuild and revitalize rural America, including efforts for the agricultural community. NAFB is the recognized and trusted source of agricultural and rural lifestyle information for America with approximately 200 members who broadcast via radio in nearly every state in the country.
