Yellow and Pink Miniature Phalaenopsis Orchids at home.
There are two main types: standard and miniature. The first can reach 1 m in height, while the miniatures are around 30 cm. Both have a very similar structure, differing only in size. The leaves are broad and shiny, growing in the center of the plant. The fall of the older leaves allows the plant to remain with four to five leaves at any time. Standard flowers are about 8 cm wide and have very long stems, which can be up to 60 cm. The miniatures have smaller flowers and bloom on shorter stems. Their colors vary from white to pink and yellow, often streaked or stained with attractive markings. The petals are rounded. It can flower up to three times a year, and the season varies according to the geographic region.
