I am not kidding you. I know that this looks almost cartoonesque, but other than the contrast and the saturation I did not manipulate this image.
One of the gray nurse sharks (Carcharias taurus) at Sydney's magic point yawned right in front of my eyes. I had seen frogfish yawning, but never any sharks. Is this a routine to loosen the yaw muscles? A respiratory effort? I am not sure. Fascinating!
