29 / 365 - Waiting for the water to be a little warmer
29 / 365 July 29, 2010
These guys live on the shelves in our bar area. We got these on a holiday in Hastings Point a few years back, where we have stayed numerous times, at a 5 star camping ground. It was great when the kids were younger and there was kids club in the morning and afternoon, so they could go and enjoy craft, pool or numerous other activities, whilst the parents could chill out and read the paper or a novel.
But I digress, we headed down to Byron Bay for a day trip and we spotted these guys, and we both loved them.
The main reason I brought these guys out for today's photo is that I am heading off for a winter guys holiday to the aussie snow hills in a bit over 2 weeks, and whilst I have Sue's blessing (as she hasn't had the best experiences on the snow in the past) I started to talk about our September holidays at Caloundra. We so love that holiday as a relaxing week for all, with the kids and I getting numerous swims and surfs in before the morning is out, and the fourth member of our family rises. :-)
