San Miguel

Camera: D80 105mm f36 1/160 sec ISO100

Glass sat on plexiglass with white paper underneath. A4 Black foamcore either side of glass.

Strobist: SB-900 under plexiglass fired at wall behind, slightly to the right of glass @ 1/2 power. Second SB-900 at 1/8 power in Ezybox at 45 degrees to the glass camera left, providing light for the label and the froth. White paper at 45 degrees camera right to add fill to the right side of the label/froth.

Some work in elements to lighten the label and the froth.

A first attempt at lighting beer. I read through the article on lighting lager in Light: Science and Magic, and decided that cutting holes in background paper was a little more effort than I had time for on Saturday, so thought I'd cheat by fired a yellow filtered strobe at the wall behind the lager.
