Astatic D-104 microphone

Vintage CB/ham microphone, on G stand, circa 1975. The D-104 line was produced from 1933 to 2001.

These mikes could be modified with a bent paper clip attached to the microphone head, adjusted so the clip was plucked when the mike was keyed up. Depending on the size and quality of the clip and how it was bent, the sound would vary anywhere from a clank to a resonant boing lasting a few seconds.
