    The light bugged me with the reflections. I still have a lot to go before shooting glass the right way!!

    Helen, I would have chosen a slightly higher angle. It would given a better view on the strawberry and i could help you with the reflections too by getting out of the direction for reflections. And you could use a polarization filter to minimize them.

    to be honest i like the effect the reflection gives the picture. it adds a lovely glossy shine against the white and the red. I would have tried to have shot it form just a slightly lower angle to get the whole glipse of the cut strawberry, which right now is being hidden by the rim of the glass.

    The balanced strawberry was kind of done on purpose but I can see where the rim distracts too much away from it.
