69 year old man with a history of COPD

Chest Xray and CT showed a left lower lobe lung mass (pleural based). The mass was PET avid. Past history was also significant for smoking 3 packs per day for many years, and for asbestos exposure for 20 years at work. Clinically the mass was suspicious for a neoplastic process.
