Done with the most random 365 you may have ever witnessed..!!!! 365/365
Took a leap exactly an year ago and decided to do a 365 project. Not knowing how far I would go, I kept pushing myself taking a shot everyday thinking it may not last too long.. Before I knew it, I was 3 months in, then 6 months and then the last few days. Which is when it finally sunk in that I was about to finish this project successfully..!!! And, like one of my good friends put it, I had the most random 365 shots, and honestly, I took it as a huge compliment.
My goal for this project was to push myself more and more to see how much I can improve my photographic skills. To get outside of my comfort zone and take on challenges that I had never taken before. And, I am proud to brag that I ccomplished every goal that I had set in my mind.
Had a great last day of shooting with friends, although I would have liked the company of a few more dear friends who couldn't join for whatever reason. Thanks to all who honored me with their company for my last shot. This shot may not be the best ever at this location, but for me it was more about hanging out with my friends on this big day. This shot alos may not look as hard to do, but you had to be there, plus, I'm not really comfortable with heights... although, I was relatively calm and confident, until one of my friends told me that the landing spot was nothing but lose gravel.. yeah, the whole floor/ceiling has the potential of collapsing any moment.. this jump was only going to happen once, and thanks to my friend Ray for triggering the shots... and once I landed, I just got to a safe spot and sat down for a couple of minutes.. my legs were shaking way too much for two reasons, 1) I just got done with my project and 2) I survived the jump
Anyhow, a huge thanks to my wife, my kids for tolerating me and encouraging me every time I was down and almost out.. a big thanks to my buddy Alfredo who would not allow me to quit the project.
A big shout out to my friends Tim, Deana, Patty and Linda who also successfully completed their project 365 as well. Without their support and encouragement, I don't think I would've completed this project. Congratulations to all of you.
A big thanks to my friends at work who kept me going by giving weekly challenges.
Also, I want to thank you, yes, you.. if you're reading this, I thank you for your support on this project. I made a whole lot of friends via this project and that too was a big accomplishment for me. I've tried to add as many of you that I remember who helped my along the way through out this year.. and I'm sure I've forgotten a few names. So, if you don't see your name and would like to add it, please feel free to do so.
Lastly, Wishing you and yours a very HAPPY 2012.. hope its the best year ever in all regards.
