My two buddies, Dr. Sukhwinder Singh, a Ph.D in Computer Vision, and formerly from Sant Longowal IET, who is currently working as a Professor in Chandigarh, (is it at the Punjab University?)

and Dr. Maninder Singh, one of India's leading security researcher, from the Thapar University, Patiala.


"The SuperComputing People" from India. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is India's premier scientific institution at the cutting-edge of research and design in advanced computing, ICT, and much more.


Over 140 people attended a Workshop-cum-Demo on Open Source Software Tools and Technologies, by C-DAC Mohalli, held at Taj Hotel, Chandigarh, on 31 July 2009. The event also showcased a derivative of Debian Linux called 'BOSS' which is a Government of India initiative led by C-DAC: 'Bharat Operating System Solutions'
