Osho HDPlayer

It's a birthday gift to my mom. That's a 160GB Hard-Disk player, with its remote-control. It works as a regular, external, USB-based computer hard-disk. So drag-and-drop files with ease. Connect it to your home TV, and/or to your stereo, and it plays upto DVD-quality movies, and music. No computer required. I wrote about it in Delhi's Mint newspaper here: NIyam's Mint Article on HDPlayers

Have also written a more free and open-source oriented article in my regular 'freedomyug' column in LinuxForYou magazine, 'Western Digital Meets Eastern Mysticism'. The Hard-Disk Player essentially contains my mom's personal collection of Osho's discourses in Hindi and English that she's been collecting and listening to, through her lifetime. It also contains Osho's meditation music. In that wooden frame is one of my favourite photos of Osho, strumming a guitar. The coffee mug is engraved with Osho's signature. You may discover Osho's vast treasure of freely-downloadable discourses here: Osho Discourses
