TAME (stylized as tame) (Quito) introduced this new livery with the delivery of this ex-bmi Airbus A320-232 HC-CID (msn 934, ex N934BV/G-MIDZ) on July 7, 2009. The airline was formed by the military in 1962 for civil transport to remote areas. TAME originally stood for Transportes Aéreos Militares Ecuatorianos (Ecuadorian Military Air Transports), which later became Transportes Aéreos Mercantiles Ecuatorianos (Ecuadorian Mercantile Air Transports). HC-CID climbs from Guayaquil in the new look.
