Spent almost the entire day assembling pierogies. Eight dozen worth! I made a mix of potato+cheese, and cottage cheese.
I grew up eating pierogies. My grandmother taught my aunt how to make them, and my aunt taught me. It is one of my favorite foods, second only to nalesniki, or Polish crepes (our family stuffs them with leftover pot roast and sauteed onions).
