Mammee Apple #2: REDLAND

No, they are not Sapodillas, although they look similar.

It is known also as Mamee or Mamee Apple or Mamey or Mamey Apple.

Not to be confused with the Mamey sapote tree (Pouteria sapota), whose fruit is also called Mammee or Mamey.

The Family name had since been changed from Clusiaceae.

A bunch of unripe 'Redland' Mamee Apple.

Mammea americana

Family Calophyllaceae

Fruit & Spice Park, Homestead, Florida, USA.

The Map shows the exact GPS Coordinates of my Camera (Latitude / Longitude / Altitude). They have been Geotagged in this image's EXIF file by my accompanying GiSTEQ PhotoTrackr.
