Sweet Lemon #1: SANBOKAN

"Sanbokan is like biting into a glass of sweet lemonade."

Lemon is supposed to be sour or tart and Orange is supposed to be sweet. So, when a Lemon is sweet, is it still a Lemon?

The unique but little known Sanbokan, a native of southern Japan, is really a Grapefruit.

A pair of semi-ripe Sanbokan Lemon compared with a coin of 1 inch (2,54 cm) diameter.

Citrus sulcata

Family Rutaceae
