Operation Field Day aims to repair hard-hit schools
ISHINOMAKI, Japan— Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Barry, translator, 10th Support Group, Joint Support Forces Japan, and a teacher at the school here engage in a piggy-back race with students at the damaged school here April 1. The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force identified the school as particularly hard hit and coordinated a bilateral cleanup that involved Marines, sailors, soldiers and airmen working alongside JGSDF members.
