St Mary's Parade, Lancaster

St. Mary’s Parade is a row of Grade II listed Georgian town houses fronting onto Lancaster Castle's tree-lined green. The Priory Church of St Mary (Lancaster Priory) is close by, next to the castle.

This is a quaint area of Lancaster, with several cobbled streets & ginnels leading down the hill towards the centre of Lancaster.

This photo was taken just before the Jubilee celebrations, hence the flags fluttering in the wind.

Just before I took this shot I met a Pikeman and Musketeer on their way for Drill at the Judges Lodgings (yes, really)

Taken in Lancaster on a rather cloudy day.
