Ingleborough, view from Kingsdale
**Entered Explore on the 5th March; highest position known #185 on the 10th March.
Tuesday was such a lovely day, and so we went to Masongill and Kingsdale.
This view shows Ingleborough from the lower end of Kingsdale.
Below the summit of Ingleborough is a fine limestone Scar, aptly named White Scar. In the middle right can be seen the Show Cave on the Scar, the famous White Scar Caves.
These caves are well worth a visit and small children can be taken into them (sensible footwear required).
Ingleborough is easy to climb from many directions, save the north face.
It is one of the Three Peaks, the other two being Whernside (the tallest) and Pen-y-ghent.
