Jodie Meeks is a former college basketball stand out at the University of Kentucky and a current member of the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers.


Meeks spent 3 years playing for the University of Kentucky but it was his junior, and last year, where he left his mark. Coming off the bench, and being a fan favorite, his first 2 years at Kentucky, Meeks would start his junior year. Out of his 1246 career points at Kentucky, 854 points were from his last season. In 2009, on Jan 13, Meeks would breaking the single game scoring record when he would score 54 points against Tennessee. He also broke the Uk record by hitting 10 3 pointers that day.


Meeks was drafted in 2009 by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 41st draft choice. He was traded during the middle of the 2009-2010 season to Philadelphia. Meeks would soon become a fan favorite for his hard work and start 64 out of his 74 games during 2010-2011 season.
