The Wellington, Bennetts Hill, Birmingham - pub sign

This is The Wellington Pub on Bennetts Hill in Birmingham.

The Wellington is a specialist real ale pub, situated in the heart of Birmingham's city centre, situated just minutes from both New Street and Snow Hill train stations.

It has 15 handpumps with their regular beers being Wye Valley H.P.A., Purity Mad Goose and Black Country Ales B.F.G, Pig on the Wall and Fireside. The other pumps have constantly changing guest beers from independant and micro breweries. They also have 3 traditional ciders on handpumps which also change on a regular basis.

In 2005 they sold 2,610 different real ales which they believe is more than any other pub in the UK. The pub has won Birmingham CAMRA's Pub of the year award for both 2005 and 2006, as well as achieving a finalist position in CAMRA's National Cider Pub of the Year award.
