Crummock Water Bonsai

This small hawthorne grows in a rocky crevice near Nether How at the southern end of Crummock Water. I waited some time for the cloud over Mellbreak to either move or become more interesting ... it failed to do so. I did however like the light remaining after the sun had long settled behind the fell. It may have been better if I could have got lower down, nearer to the hawthorne, but after several contortion filled minutes I decided it was not possible, and on reflection I actually like the large section between the foreground and the silhouetted hills.
