Classic Bus, Vintage Treatment
Another experiment with Gimp, this time with a photo taken recently with a film camera, my old Mamiyaflex C2 and the 80mm chrome Sekors. Due to carelessness, this negative was under exposed by a couple of stops, and I would not have posted it normally, but if anything, this has actually improved the final image in this vintage version. Whether there is any difference between this image, and the previous one, taken with a digital camera is a moot point, I think they both end up almost as a pastiche of an old photo, and although I love warm toned black & white, these have a somewhat artificial quality, but it was fun playing!
(It's a 1955 Bristol KSW6B double decker bus)
