St Lucia Day = lots of sweets n' goodies
The full swing of the Swedish Festival with a Lucia day procession and singing. The real thing that got our attention was the lovely treats (salmon, egg and cucumber sandwiches, almond-marzipan tarts, and other little sweet bits.
If you zoom into the biggest resolution picture, smack dab in the middle is the Lucia Day girl, with the row of candles on her head. She may have been a few years too old for the role, but someone had a good rationale: she could be seen through the crowd (versus a pre-teen'er).
