Daegujeon, Yangnyeom Tongdak, Bap

    Newer Older

So last Saturday I decided to cook for my family (sort of a pre-moving meal since we're moving on Monday) and thought that I could make a really nice meal that had a little of something that everyone liked. My mother really likes fish so I tried making the daegujeon for the first time and serving them on green leaf lettuce with the dipping sauce. They turned out delicious! They remind me of my mother's salmon cakes she used to make. (Mmm Mmm Good) I dipped one in the dipping sauce and placed it on a bit of jasmine rice with the lettuce and made a wrap....Mmm Mmm Mmm...I WAS IN HEAVEN ^__^

My older sister prefers to have anything that is sweet and fried so the yangnyeom tongdak was perfect (Plus I used honey instead of the syrup). The hint of spicyness from the red pepper paste satisfied my mother's spicy-craving palatte (Double Win YAY!).

All in all it was a pleasant meal to a stenuous day. I didn't mind cooking because I enjoy it. Just give me my music, stand back, and watch me take off like a rocket and fly through the kitchen faster than the speed of light! ZOOM! (Well, maybe a little slower than the speed of light LOL ^__^)
