My First Galbi (나의 첫 번째갈비)

For the 4th of July I took the liberty (no pun intended) of fixing a feast for my family (since it's the first year it has just been the three of us in the house.) In addition to corn on the cob, burgers, hot dogs, spare ribs, fruit salad, and banana pudding, I decided to try to make galbi. The day before I marinated some beef steaks with Maangchi's marinade for galbi and it made the meat absolutely delicious! They came out so perfect that by the time everyone was done I don't think anyone could see past their stomachs. Lol. After 6-7 hours of running between the kitchen and the grill outside it was nice to see that everyone enjoyed my cooking and it was nice to give my mother a break from what she always did each year. Despite it being 97 degrees outside I felt warm on the inside. : )
