• There will be a tiled area here for his signature
  • Will it be a single 8x16 tile? I think that would be best, maybe you could get it laminated somehow. - dover ☄

Doc Brown

Newer Older

Lego Mosaic of Christopher Lloyd as "Doctor Emmet Brown" from the Back to the Future movies.

I am going to Emerald City Comic Con, in Seattle, later this month and Christopher Lloyd will be attending. I'm hoping to get it signed. This mosaic will be on display as part of SeaLUG's display.

Dimensions are 64 studs x 64 studs.

Haystack Hair, [Shunazaver], and 5 other people added this photo to their favorites.

At first when I saw the small preview image, I thought this was Klaus Kinski. Actually, a version of BTTF with him as Doc Brown would be rather interesting to watch ;)

    Have fun!

How does one sign a studded creation? You better make a little white tiled block in the corner where he can sign it and it will be visible. No good having him just sign the back of it where nobody will be able to see it! ;)

    Thanks for all the comments!

@Badger - That would be interesting!

@AK_Brickster - That is the plan. There will be a tiled area above his head, to the right. ;)

You should use a large tile so that the pen doesn't get caught in the cracks. I think it would look cool if you had him sign one of these in black with a white pen: www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=90498

Damn! ...Damn! ...Damn! This is a great little mosaic, Josh. I've been very happy since getting Nimoy signed last year, I've got Shatner in my sights this year. SHATNER!

As for the tiles, I found that 2x2 tiles work great with a Sharpie. I'd go with a silver one.

Okay, so it's no TBB, but I contribute to a blog now, too. So.... how do you say it?.... you've been bloggerated! Was that right? Maybe it's bloggerified? Bloggerificated? Well. Yes. You get the idea. ;-D Here it is, if you're interested: mosaicbricks.blogspot.com/2012/02/proving-his-mousey-wort...
