D&N Travel, Tycroes - TDT624L

Former Doncaster Corporation and South Yorkshire PTE TDT624L seen here in Ammanford Bus Station was one of a pair of Seddon Pennine IV236 Midibuses operated by Welsh operator D&N Travel (Woolfe) of Tycroes, Ammanford, West Wales, the other vehicle being UTK880L. Both had arrived with the company in June 1989 and had both previously operated with T&T Minibuses of Bridport, Dorset. They operated on a commercial service running between Hopkinstown and Cwmaman. The attractive livery suited the Seddons very well but was desperately let down by the uneven hand painted fleet names. Equally as uneven was the home made destination blind where Cwmaman was spelled incorrectly. Both the Seddons were sold in June 1990 to Kryslyn Commercial dealership based in Garngoch, who later sold both the Seddons on to Atlas Coaches of Gorseinon.
