Connie Britton visit to Kenya and Rwanda
US actress and UNDP Goodwill Ambassador Connie Britton tours Kenya’s Coastal Mangrove forests that are being conserved by Bodo community with support from UNDP through the Global Environmental Facility. The project helps the community to sustainably utilize marine resources.
Connie Britton has arrived in Kenya for the start of her official visit to the continent.
Her visit will allow her to witness firsthand some of UNDP's work helping the world's poorest and most vulnerable.
Connie Britton became a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador in 2014, helping to raise awareness of UNDP’s work in poverty eradication, with a particular focus on women’s empowerment.
