Monrovia, Liberia - September 19, 2014: General Community Health Volunteers (GCHVs) walking through West Point. GCHVs conduct contact tracing, active case finding, and general Ebola awareness and prevention of Ebola. These teams working throughout West Point are finding 20-30 suspected Ebola patient cases per day. There is nowhere to take them so they are teaching people how to isolate and care for the sick in their homes.
