      It is so hilarious that this is nothing more than the Town Car with different fiberglass nose and tail to make a Mark VI along with the fake fender gills & oval opera window. A $7-8,000.00 premium over the Town Car! I always fantasized about taking a Town Car with its prettier clean rear and grafting the more sleek Mark VI nose onto it to make a Town Mark.

      Weren't the 1982 and 1983 Mark VI coupes and sedans called simply Mark VI due to the usage of the Continental name on a Fairmont-based four-door sedan introduced for the 1982 model year?

      I thought they made the change in 1986 on the Mark VII
