These old blocks are such a part of Hong Kong's unique character. Shame to see them go eventually. I would loved to look at a shot like this in 30 years' time. Of course, I appreciate it now, but your photographs feels like they have a life of their own, they don't so much freeze time, but rather change with it.

this beautiful block and the one on the other side of the road are being demolished as soon as the Urban Renewal Authority get everyone out. Just a handful of tenants left now so won't be long. Meanwhile, on the other side of the expressway arches, today i counted 19 homeless people sleeping out. I spoke to one of them, Jenny, she's been sleeping there for 2 years now, looking after her friend who has had her legs amputated.

Feels like 30 yeArs back in time. Superb!
Shot wide open in this one? The bokeh is just enough to bring the dried salted fish back to life!!
