Black-billed Wood-dove, Turtur abyssinicus

We saw this small dove in both coastal and dry savannah in the north of Ghana. It was most often seen flying rapidly from one patch of scrub to another. This bird was singing in a scrubby area near the Sakumono lagoon, Accra on the 10th November 2015. This dove can be found in arid scrub and woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa.
