A Will to Live

This is another shot from Yellowstone NP, the beautiful Lamar Valley. I felt like I was filming a western set back in the 1800's. It was really a privilege to be able to witness nature and the incredible struggle these animals go through each day to find enough food to carry them through to the winter.

At times when the wind blew and the temperature was around 0 it really confounds the mind how anything can survive this environment. But thankfully most of them do.

Notice under the large tree is another group of bison laying down.

Very beautiful image of some really magnificent creatures. I can't believe you were able to get that close to this big animal. Nice work.
